About Me
Hello! My name is Erica. I am 33 years old and an Air Force Veteran. I am from Arizona but have lived in Las Vegas since 2012. After a long career that was military-focused, birth was heavy on my heart. My strong desire to support women and families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum has brought me to this beautiful yet significant career change. Although I have not given birth myself, I deeply appreciate and understand the birth process, and I am an expert
in support. My goal is to help cultivate a positive birth experience for women. And although I cannot guarantee birth outcomes, I will display unwavering emotional and physical support. I will help instill confidence in you, help you feel empowered by your decisions, and ensure you feel safe in your birth space.

As your labor doula, we will have one extensive prenatal visit. We will go over what to expect for each stage of labor together, your birth plan, comfort measures, and discuss any concerns
you may have. Post birth will include one postpartum visit that will go over self-care and more.

As your birth doula, I will join you when you decide you need me, or if you are unsure, I will take an active role in determining when I should come. Once by your side, I will
provide the emotional and physical support you need while also ensuring that you feel empowered to make any right decisions for YOU. I will support you through all three stages of labor and 1-2 hours after the baby is born or when you feel ready to end my support.

It's important to plan for your postpartum recovery and support. As your PIC doula I will bring companionship and emotional support to you, your partner, and newborn baby. I will provide physical and educational support. My primary focus is your recovery from birth and the baby's adjustment to life outside the womb. I do not provide clinical or medical care (or advice). I am well-versed in breast and bottle feeding, sleep guidance, infant soothing, and coping skills. I also assist in meal preparation, light housework, and the general needs of the family. I do daytime or overnight stays.
